Error Message
System Message: There was a problem generating the signing certificate.
ERROR_OPENID_008 / Code: 400 / Additional Details: ID verification failed
“The ID card/passport couldn't be verified.”
This error code usually presents in two specific scenarios during the automated identity check:
Scenario A: ID Document Verification Failed
What this means: The system cannot read the security features of your document (Passport or National ID).
How to fix it:
- Glare/Reflection: Ensure there is no bright light reflecting off the plastic surface of the ID.
- Framing: Keep the entire document within the camera frame. Do not cover any corners or text with your fingers.
- Validity: Ensure the document is not expired.
Scenario B: Biometric Mismatch
“There is a mismatch between your selfie and your ID card/passport photo.”
What this means: The AI facial recognition software cannot confidently match your live "selfie" to the photo on your uploaded document.
How to fix it:
- Lighting: Ensure your face is evenly lit (no heavy shadows).
- Appearance: Remove hats, glasses (if they aren't in your ID photo), and keep a neutral expression.
- Background: Stand against a plain, light-colored wall.
