Penneo account activation link validity
Upon the creation of a user profile by a Penneo administrator, the user receives an email containing a link to activate the new account. For security reasons, this Penneo activation link remains active for a period of 14 days. Once the user clicks the link to begin activation, it becomes valid for only 30 minutes. It is essential to complete the account creation process promptly after activation to ensure access.
Penneo login method configuration
The specific login methods available in Penneo profile settings depend on the login options selected and enabled by the administrator. This guide provides a step-by-step example of setting up Classic credentials alongside an eID. For further information on modifying login methods, refer to the guides on how to enable/disable users’ login methods (for Administrators) and how to connect an eID to a Penneo login.
