Opening the signature request
To reject a signature request, begin by clicking the link provided in the email. If the documents do not have access control enabled, they will open immediately for viewing. If access control is active, you must confirm your identity using an electronic ID (eID) before you can view the documents. Note that confirming your identity to gain document access is a separate action from the act of signing.
Selecting the rejection option
Locate the option in the bottom right corner of the document preview interface. Click Reject to sign to initiate the rejection process.
Confirming the rejection
After selecting the rejection option, you may optionally add a short message to the sender explaining why you have decided not to sign the document. To complete the process, click Reject in the confirmation window that appears.
Rejection status and verification
After confirming, the system displays a message stating that you have successfully rejected the signature request. This confirmation page will also appear if you attempt to open the original signing link from your email at a later time.
