Account Activation Link Validity & Expiration
When a Penneo administrator creates your user profile, you will receive an activation email. For security purposes, the activation link has strict time limits:
- Unopened Link Validity: The activation link expires 14 days after the email is sent.
- Opened Link Validity: Once clicked, the link remains valid for only 30 minutes.
⚠️ Important: You must complete the entire account creation process within that 30-minute window after clicking the link to ensure successful access. If the activation link has expired, please contact your Penneo administrator.
Login Method Configuration
The specific login methods available to you depend on the options enabled by your Penneo administrator.

Step-by-Step Account Setup Procedure
Follow these steps to configure your Classic credentials and activate your account:
- Click the invitation link provided in your Penneo welcome email.
- Review your setup options determined by your administrator. To follow this guide, click Continue to configure Classic Credentials.

Enter your preferred username and password to create your credentials, then click Save.
Username Requirement: Minimum of 6 characters.
Password Requirement: Minimum of 10 characters.
Note: Your username and email address are distinct and separate.
- Click Next to proceed.
- Activate additional login methods (Optional). Follow the on-screen steps then click Next.
- Click Start Penneo to complete the setup and log in to your account.
