Administrative requirements for API keys
Only administrators possess the authority to activate API keys for themselves or other users. If a user does not have administrative rights, they must contact an administrator on their account to enable API key access for their user profile.
Activating API keys for users
Administrators can enable API keys for specific users by following these steps:
- Click Configure on the left side menu, then select Company.
- Navigate to the Users tab, find the specific user, and click on their name.
- Scroll to the Login Methods section at the bottom and check the API Keys box.
- Click Update user details to save the configuration.
Locating and resetting API keys
To manage personal API keys, use the following procedure:
- Click Configure on the left side menu, then select Profile.
- Click the API Keys tab. If this tab is missing, contact an administrator to activate API keys for the account.
