Data ownership transfer on user deletion
Penneo recommends enabling the option to allow transferring ownership of data upon user deletion. If this feature is not enabled when a user is deleted, all of their data will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
Default sensitive data settings for case files
Enabling the “Enable sensitive data by default for all case files” option ensures the Sensitive data function is active for every new case file by default. While this setting automatically check-marks the option, the user creating the case file can still manually disable it during the creation process. Penneo recommends using this configuration if it is known preemptively that most case files will contain sensitive data.
Case file signing request expiration
The “Case file signing requests expire after” setting defines the default number of days or months after which signing requests will expire for case files. This expiration timeframe serves as the default setting for every case file created, though the specific expiration date can be adjusted by the user during the case file creation process.
