Only administrators can reset the password for users.
Note: If you are a user without admin rights, and you have forgotten your user account login credentials, contact your administrator, and they will be able to send you a reset link by following the steps below. Once you have received a reset link, follow the steps in this guide: How to reset my password (for Users).
If you are an administrator, follow the steps below to reset the password for users.
- When logged into Penneo, click on Configure on the left side menu, and then Company.
- Select the tab Users.
- If you want to enable or disable certain login methods for this user, you do so under Login Methods at the bottom of the page. Click Update User Details if you have changed the allowed login methods.
- Select the Reset Credentials tab.
- Click the Send Reset Email button.
- Click Accept.
The user will receive a link to reset their login method. Once they have received a reset link, users need to follow the steps in this guide: How to reset my password (for Users).
Penneo users cannot log in with an electronic ID before they have connected it to their Penneo account. If you have allowed them to log in via eID, make sure your user connects their eID to their Penneo login by following this guide: How to connect an eID to my Penneo login.
