Identifying Repeated Individuals
Yes. When creating companies as clients in Penneo KYC, the system can recognize that a person appearing as the beneficial owner of a company previously created appears again as the beneficial owner of another company you are creating. Therefore, in such a case, you do not need to send a new KYC request to that person to ask for their information and documents because you already have that data stored in the system.
However, if it has been a long time since the information on that person was collected through Penneo KYC, and that data has not been updated since then, you should obtain it again by sending a new KYC request to that person.
It is important to remember that even if the same person appears as the beneficial owner in several companies, the companies may have different risk profiles. Therefore, you must make a separate risk assessment for each company that the beneficial owner represents.
