If you click on a link and receive error code 404, it means that the link is not active anymore.
This may be caused by one of the following reasons:
- You have received a signing request link via email (or in a reminder email after a few days from the first email), and if you click on the link to start the signing process, the link is now inactive. Try to find the most recent reminder email that you've received from Penneo with the signing link. You can filter your email inbox with relevant keywords to show all Penneo emails. If even the link in the most recent email doesn't work, request a new one from the person who sent it to you.
- You have clicked on a signing link that has been deactivated by the person who sent you the signing request. This means that the sender of the request has either deleted you as a signer or changed the recipient's email address. Therefore, you need to contact the person who sent you the signing request and ask them for a new one.
- You have received an invitation to use Penneo (and activate your user account) or a link to reset the password for your user account, and the link has expired. When your company account administrator sends you a link to reset your password, the link will be active for 14 days; however, if you click on it, you need to complete the process within 30 minutes, or the link will become inactive. If you don't reset your password within 14 days (or don't complete the process within 30 minutes from opening the link), you'll need to contact your administrator and ask them for a new link to reset your password.
