How to change email address and/or name
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer whose details you want to change.
- Go to the tab Master data.
- Change the name and e-mail address by typing in their respective fields and press Save changes.
- If you have changed the email address, you will need to send a new signing request to the new email address. To do so, go to the tab Actions and click Resend request.
How to change or add 'on behalf of'
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer whose details you want to change.
- Go to the tab Master data.
- Change 'On behalf of' by typing in the respective field and press Save changes.
How to change the reminder interval
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer whose settings you want to change.
- Go to the tab Master data.
- Change the reminder interval by clicking on the plus or minus next to the number and press Save changes.
How to enable/disable Simple Electronic Signatures
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer whose settings you want to change.
- Go to the tab Master data.
- Choose which Simple Electronic Signature you would like to enable/disable and press Save changes. If you cannot enable Simple Electronic Signatures, this could be caused by one of the following reasons:
- It may be because you have enabled access control during the case file creation. If that's the case, you will need to disable access control to then enable Simple Electronic signatures.
- If you still cannot enable Simple Electronic Signatures after disabling access control, it may be because you have enabled the Sensitive option during case file creation. You can check if that's the case by scrolling all the way down in the case file view; if you have enabled the Sensitive option, you will see "Access control is enabled" under Sensitive Data Protection. In this case, you cannot change this setting anymore (the Sensitive option cannot be disabled after you send out the case file; therefore, the Simple Electronic Signatures cannot be enabled).
How to add or edit social security number or VATIN
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer whose details you want to change.
- Go to the tab Validation.
- Select the country to which the SSN is related and enter the number in the relevant field. If you are unsure of the SSN format, please see this guide: What is the right format for social security numbers?. If you are adding VATIN, do so by typing in the VATIN field (note that VATIN is only applicable to Danish organization numbers).
- Click on Save changes.
How to change the Access control settings
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer whose settings you want to change.
- Choose the tab Access control.
- Click on Set signer's information to private to enable access control.
- Click on Save changes. If you get the message "Failed to save changes", it might be because you have enabled Simple Electronic Signatures. To enable access control, disable Simple Electronic Signatures and then try again. If you wish to learn more about access control, see this guide: How "Access Control" works.
How to delete a signer
- When viewing the case file, click on the signer you want to delete.
- Select the tab Actions.
- Click Delete Signer.
- Confirm your choice of deletion by clicking Yes, delete. Note that you cannot reverse this deletion.
