In case one of your signers has rejected to sign by mistake, you can revert the rejection.
This guide will show you how to revert the rejection so that the signer can once again get the option to sign.
- Locate the case file in which you have a signer with the status rejected.
- Open the case file, and click on the signer that rejected to sign.
- Click on Actions and select Revert rejection. "Signer was reactivated" should appear at the top of the page, and the signer's status should now have changed to pending.
- The event log of the case file should also show an email being sent to the signer. If the request instantly gets rejected, it might be because the case file has expired. If this is the case, follow the guide: How to reactivate an expired case file. In case you do not see an email being sent to your signer after having reverted the rejection, go back to the Actions tab when viewing your signer. Click on Resend request. Note that resending the request will deactivate the previous link.
