Follow the instructions listed below to learn how to move case files and folders.
Note: If you are not able to move a case file or folder, it may be because you don't have the right to manage those folders, or the owner of the case file/folder does not have access to the location you are trying to move it to.
- Locate the case file or folder you want to move.
- Select the case file or folder by checking the box on its left side and click on the Move button that appears.
- Choose the folder to which you want to move your case file or folder and click Move. Now, your case file or folder has been moved to your newly selected folder.
Note that you cannot move folders to your archive view. What you can do is create a new folder in your archive where you can move other folders. To do so, after creating a new folder in your archive, go back to the folder you wanted to move, select everything it contains and move it to the new folder.
