There are two types of accounts in Penneo:
- Private accounts are automatically created when you sign documents with an electronic ID that is not affiliated with any company account in Penneo. You can access your archive in your private account by logging into Penneo with the same method you used when signing the document.
- Company accounts are created on the basis of a contract between Penneo and the company. You can access your company-associated user account by logging into Penneo with the credentials enabled for your user account by your administrator.
Log in as a private user
If you have signed a document via Penneo, a private archive has been automatically created for you and can be accessed by logging into Penneo with the same method you used when signing the document.
Note that if you have signed documents with different eIDs, you will have multiple archives.
To log in, follow these steps:
- Go to https://app.penneo.com/.
- Log in with the same method you used when signing your documents (if you used your eID, you have to use that same eID to log in).
- Once logged in, you should be able to see your archive. Your documents are most likely saved in your standard folder, which is by default called Unsorted. Click on the folder.
- Locate your contract in the folder by its name, and click on it to view all the containing documents. Note that if you cannot find the contract, it might be because the case file has not been finalized yet - i.e., not all concerned parties have signed the documents. Please check your email to ensure you have received a confirmation of finalization.
See instructions on how to download documents in this guide: How to get the signed document when it's finalized.
Multiple private archives
If you have signed documents via Penneo multiple times using different eIDs, you will have multiple archives because private archives are automatically created for each eID.
Therefore, if you log in with an eID and cannot find a certain document in your archive, that might mean that you signed the document with a different eID. Thus, you should log out from Penneo and log in again with a different eID.
Log in as a company user
If you have a user account linked to a company account in Penneo and want to log in, you need to use the credentials enabled for your user account.
When you log into Penneo for the first time, you need to use the credentials you created when activating your user account. If you used a username and password, then you must log in with that login method to see your user account archive.
There are several login methods to choose from in Penneo.
However, these other login methods can only be used if:
- an administrator of your company account allowed the login method for the user account
- the login method (an eID, for example) has been connected to the account by the user.
If you want to be able to log into your user account (linked to a company account in Penneo) with your eID, you need to connect your eID to your user account by following this guide: How to connect an eID to my Penneo login.
- To log into Penneo, go to https://app.penneo.com/
- Log in with the credentials enabled for your user account
- You are now ready to use Penneo as a company user
