What is a client responsible?
A client responsible is an owner of a client relationship within Penneo KYC. The client responsible must be a KYC user. This feature is designed to inform users about the client responsible and to allow filtering of client relationships in the Dashboard based on ownership.
How can I add and remove a client responsible in a client relationship?
Please note that you can only assign responsibles to a client relationship if the client ownership option has been enabled in the company settings by your account administrators. For more details, you can direct them to this section of the article: How to Enable Client Responsible in Company Settings (for Administrators).
If you don’t see a relevant client responsible, please contact one of your account administrators and ask them to add the person to the address book. You can refer them to this section of the article: The Address Book (for Administrators).
When creating a client relationship
If the option of client ownership is enabled in the company settings, you will be asked to choose a client responsible when creating a new client relationship. Select the client responsible from the drop down menu and click on Confirm.
When the client relationship has already been created
When opening an already existing client relationship, you can add or change the client responsible.
You can add a client responsible by clicking on No responsible assigned. You can choose the client responsible from the drop down menu and click on Confirm.
If you want to change the client responsible, you can click on the client responsible, choose the new client responsible from the drop down menu and click on Confirm.

How can I enable client responsible in the company settings?
Administrators of the company account can open the Settings of the company account, click on Client relationships and next on Client responsible..
Here they can enable the option of client responsible under Manage client responsible by clicking on the On button.

How to add responsibles to the Client responsible list
There are different methods for adding client responsibles to the address book.. To access the address book, click on Client relationships, Client responsible and finally Client Responsible list.
Adding existing users of the company account to the address book
You can add users by clicking on the Add button in the user list that gets shown under Add client owners.
Alternatively, you can click on the Add manual button and insert a name, if a person exists in the system you can select their name from the dropdown, if not, an owner will be included manually.
You can also add users as client responsibles through the Users tab in company settings. Select the user you want to add to the address book and click on Add to Client responsible list.
How to remove responsibles or transfer ownership from the Client Responsible list
You can remove a client responsible or transfer ownership to another client responsible from the address book by navigating to the list of client responsibles and clicking on the three dots next to the name of the client responsible you want to remove or transfer ownership from. Click on Remove or Transfer clients.
Remove client responsible from the address book
When selecting the option Remove, you will be asked whether you want to transfer the ownership to another client responsible, in case the responsible has client relationships assigned to him.. You can choose another client responsible in the drop down menu or you can select the option Don’t transfer clients. You can confirm your choice by clicking on Remove.
You can also remove users as client responsible through the Users tab in company settings. Select the user you want to remove and click on Remove. You will then also be able to transfer the ownership to another responsible.
Transfer clients to another case responsible
When selecting the option Transfer clients, you will be asked to select a new client responsible from the drop down menu. Once you select a new responsible, you can save the changes by clicking on Transfer.
What happens when I delete a user who is a client responsible?
When you delete a user who is a client responsible,, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion. If you choose to proceed, you will be asked whether you want to transfer ownership to another client responsible, in case the user has client relationships assigned to him. You can select a new client responsible from the drop-down menu, or choose the option Don’t transfer clients. Confirm your selection by clicking Remove.
